The Butler County Department of Economic Development had a successful year in 2008 with over $640 million in new investment made in the County.   A total of 3,316,700  sq. ft. of commercial and industrial space was either leased or sold in Butler County during 2008.  More than $3.1 billion dollars has been invested in Butler County during the five-year period from 2004 to 2008.
